1. Who provides this service

Garaz.gr operates as an online marketplace for vehicle and parts classifieds in Greece. For anything concerning these terms, contact info@garaz.gr.

Using the platform means you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree with any of them, you should not use it.

2. What the service is — and is not

Garaz.gr provides the technical infrastructure for sellers to publish adverts and for buyers to find them. Any contract of sale, exchange or transfer is concluded solely between the users involved.

• We are not a seller, buyer, broker or agent for any party.
• We do not own, physically inspect or guarantee the condition of any vehicle or part.
• We do not process payment of the purchase price and never hold money on behalf of users.
• We do not guarantee that an advert will lead to a sale, or that a user will respond.

3. Accounts

• An account is personal. It may not be transferred or sold.
• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.
• The details you provide must be true and kept up to date.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account. Sign-in uses a link or an identity provider, so protect your email account.
• Professional sellers must register a dealer account. Trading from a private account is grounds for suspension.

4. Advert rules

The seller is solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of their advert, and for the legality of selling that particular item.

The following are expressly prohibited:

• False or misleading information — in particular mileage, year, condition, damage or history.
• Photos that do not show the actual vehicle, or that belong to third parties without the right to use them.
• Adverts for vehicles that do not exist, are not available, or do not belong to the seller.
• Publishing the same advert repeatedly, or in the wrong category.
• Prices that are not real, are merely indicative, or act as bait.
• Selling stolen vehicles, vehicles with undisclosed encumbrances, or goods whose sale is prohibited.
• Circumventing platform systems, automated data collection (scraping) and bulk extraction of adverts.
• Abusive, misleading or unlawful content, and third parties' personal data without their consent.

We reserve the right to review, re-rank, withdraw or delete any advert that breaches these terms, without prior notice where that is necessary to protect users.

5. AI-generated content

The platform offers AI assistance: from your photos and notes it suggests vehicle specifications, a price range and description text.

• Suggestions are a drafting aid, not a certification. They may contain errors.
• The seller must check every field before publishing. On publication the content is treated as the seller's own and binds them.
• Price indicators and trust scores are statistical comparison tools. They are not a valuation, an expert appraisal or investment advice.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Registration and core use are free. Certain optional services are paid: additional photo slots (a pack of 5 photos, €10 including VAT), advert promotion, and dealer subscriptions.

• Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where applicable.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details on our servers.
• Purchases of digital services are activated immediately. Where you expressly consent to immediate performance, the 14-day right of withdrawal ceases once the service has been fully performed, in line with Greek consumer law (art. 3ιβ of Law 2251/1994).
• Dealer subscriptions run for the agreed period. Cancellation takes effect for the following period and gives no right to a refund for the current one.
• If a paid service is not delivered through our fault, we refund the corresponding amount.

7. Rights in content

Content you upload remains yours. By posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store it, adapt it technically (resizing, compression, watermarking) and display it on the platform and in promoting the platform, for as long as the advert is published and for a reasonable period afterwards for archival and security purposes.

You confirm that you hold the rights to every photo you upload. The Garaz.gr name, logo and design are protected and may not be used without permission. Manufacturers' trade marks belong to their owners and are used descriptively only.

8. Liability

• We are not liable for the content of adverts, the conduct of users, or the outcome of any transaction.
• We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running, without guaranteeing that it will always be available or free of errors.
• We are not liable for loss arising from events outside our control, nor for lost profits or indirect loss.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Greek law, in particular for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor does it affect your rights as a consumer.

9. Suspension and deletion

We may suspend or delete an account that breaches these terms, creates risk for other users, or is used fraudulently. Where possible we notify the user and give them a chance to explain; in urgent cases notification follows afterwards.

You can close your account at any time by asking us from your registered email address.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of our registered seat have jurisdiction, without prejudice to a consumer's right to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.

Before any legal route, write to us — most things are settled by email. As a consumer you may also approach the Greek Consumer Ombudsman or the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.

11. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms when the service or the legal framework changes. Material changes are announced on the platform before they take effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
